Major Function:

Develop and implement marketing solutions to meet long term growth and retention objectives for the Bank. Manage the day-to-day marketing activities.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and implement the Annual Marketing Plan and budget.
  • Oversee brand management and corporate identity.
  • Collaborate with management and develop the marketing strategy aligning with Bank objectives and priorities.
  • Manage promotions, public relations efforts and market research activities as outlined in the Annual Marketing Plan.
  • Manage the Bank's online presence and serve as a resource for the Affiliate Banks relating to online marketing and website maintenance.
  • Coordinate social media, email marketing initiatives and newsletter production.
  • Develop programs to enhance the customer experience and promote community outreach.
  • Plan and coordinate seminars and special events.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant Bank departments are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Oversee communications with outside vendors (i.e. marketing agency and media providers) in coordinating the implementation of marketing promotions and projects.
  • Work closely with First Point team to ensure consistency in branding.
  • Provide superior customer service consistent with First National Bank's standards.
  • Exemplify the Bank's core values of Community-Focused, Innovative, Trustworthy, Responsive & Secure.
  • Assist other employees/departments/branches to promote teamwork and excellent communication.
  • Promote a positive bank image in the community.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
  • At least 4 years of marketing or related experience required; digital marketing and event planning experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of marketing and public relations techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency with social media and online marketing channels.
  • Graphic design skills and Adobe software experience.
  • Professional written communication skills and ability to write, copy, proofread and edit written work of others.
  • Strong computer literacy, with knowledge of computer software (i.e. Microsoft Windows Operating System and Office applications).
  • Well organized, accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently or in team environment.
  • Strong reading, writing, and basic mathematical skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel between locations may be required.

Regular Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
